Each year guild members select worthy organizations to receive our community quilts. Over the years we have donated hats, scarves, and doll quilts to Snohomish County’s Christmas House, victims of the Oso landslide, Everett Fire Department, and Habitat for Humanity.
For the 2021 and 2022 years we have selected the following organizations:
South County Fire Department - Quilts are distributed to victims of fires, accidents, and children involved in emergency calls.
Clare's Place - In 2019 the Everett Quilt Guild donated 74 twin quilts to Everett's newest transitional housing apartment complex, Clare's Place. We are committed to providing a new quilt to each new resident as they begin their journey to independence.
North Middle School and Hawthorne Elementary School Kids in Transition Program - providing quilts to children experiencing homelessness or insecurity.
Bethany Silver Crest Nursing Home - providing lap quilts, shawls and comfort items to residents.
Snohomish County’s Christmas House - The guild has provided fleece hats, scarves, cell phone wallets, pillowcases, dolls, doll cloths, doll quilts, and bed quilts to Christmas House for distribution to children in Snohomish County.
We take on additional one-time projects as time and resources allow including hats and gloves for the men's shelter, lockdown window covers for the elementary school, bowl cozies, walker and wheelchair bags and more.
